Armenia ranked 4th in the list of the most popular New Year holiday destinations for Russians, according to a study by the airline ticket booking service “Aviasales”.

YEREVAN, December 16. /ARKA/. Armenia ranked 4th in the list of the most popular New Year holiday destinations for Russians, according to a study by the airline ticket booking service “Aviasales”.

According to TASS, Armenia accounted for 7% of air ticket purchases for the New Year holidays. The only countries ahead of Armenia in this regard are Thailand (11%), Uzbekistan (10%), and Turkey (8%).

Russians also plan to fly to the UAE, Kazakhstan, and Belarus (6% each), as well as Georgia (5%).

Yerevan hotels recognised as most comfortable in OneTwoTrip rating

OneTwoTrip travel planning service has selected the top cities where hotels in 2024 earned the highest scores in terms of such criteria as location, value for money, staff performance, comfort and cleanliness in the room.
