According to this data, Russians made nearly 31.53 million trips abroad for various purposes in 2025 (an 8% increase from the previous year). Tourist trips totaled 13.44 million (an increase of 15.6%).
Armenia ranked seventh among Russian tourist destinations. According to the FSB, 367,680 Russian tourists visited the republic in 2025, a 14.7% increase from the previous year.
Armenia also ranked among the top ten destinations for all purposes. In 2025, approximately 1 million trips by Russians to Armenia were recorded, representing an 8% year-on-year increase.
The top ten most visited countries by Russians for all purposes included Turkey, Abkhazia, Kazakhstan, China, the UAE, Egypt, Georgia, Thailand, Armenia, and Uzbekistan.
