YEREVAN, April 17. /ARKA/. Armenia and Greece are discussing the development of a new joint tourism product. In this context, the issue of creating routes based on the history of the Greek people in Armenia and promoting them in the Greek market was discussed at a meeting between the head of the Armenian Tourism Committee Lusine Gevorgyan and the Ambassador of Greece to Armenia Christos Sofianopoulos.

According to the Armenian Tourism Committee, the parties presented each other with statistics on tourist visits, discussed existing problems and steps aimed at solving them, and emphasized the need to increase Armenia's visibility in Greece and conduct targeted events.

The organization of the first meeting of the Armenian-Greek joint commission in 2025 in Armenia and the implementation of joint educational programs aimed at improving the capabilities of students and the subsequent provision of quality services were also on the discussion agenda.

The parties agreed to closely cooperate to develop cooperation in the field of tourism between Armenia and Greece.
