The government's strategic program for tourism development in the country for 2026–2030 aims to increase the number of tourists visiting the country to 3 million annually, up from 2.2 million in 2024.
YEREVAN, December 5. /ARKA/. The government's strategic program for tourism development in the country for 2026–2030 aims to increase the number of tourists visiting the country to 3 million annually, up from 2.2 million in 2024.
According to the government's press service, during a discussion with RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, it was noted that the program envisages the implementation of consistent steps in attracting investment, developing infrastructure, ensuring market entry for world-renowned brands, enhancing Armenia's international attractiveness, and providing high-quality services.
The strategic program for tourism development in the country for 2026–2030 will be submitted to the government for approval.
According to Armstat, the number of foreign tourists visiting Armenia in the first 9 months of 2025 amounted to 1.73 million, compared to 1.72 million for the same period in 2024, an increase of 0.8%.
