Armenia has been nominated for the title of World's Leading Destination 2025 at the World Travel Awards 2025, the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Armenia announced.

YEREVAN, October 15. /ARKA/. Armenia has been nominated for the title of World's Leading Destination 2025 at the World Travel Awards 2025, the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Armenia announced.

"This significant nomination is a high recognition of Armenia's rich cultural heritage, historical monuments, and centuries-old traditions, which continue to inspire thousands of tourists from around the world," the committee said in a statement.

The committee called on its citizens to vote for Armenia and support the country in receiving this important international recognition. "Together, let us show the world the beauty and spirit of Armenia," the committee said in a statement.

Armenian passport falls two places in Henley & Partners ranking

According to the 2025 ranking released by the consulting firm Henley & Partners, the Armenian passport is currently positioned at 76th place.
