YEREVAN, September 17. /ARKA/. This summer, there was a significant rise in the interest of Russians towards CIS nations, including Armenia.

According to TASS news agency, referencing a report from the online hotel and apartment reservation platform "Ostrovok," the ten most favored destinations comprise Belarus, Turkey, Abkhazia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Thailand, Italy, Uzbekistan, and China.

Armenia experienced a 55% surge in bookings compared to the previous summer. Georgia recorded a 37% increase, Kyrgyzstan 27%, and Uzbekistan 16%.

Among CIS nations, Kazakhstan witnessed the highest growth in hotel reservations for the summer of 2025.

Among European nations, France recorded the most significant rise (+21%), while Vietnam led in Asia with a 35% increase.-0-
