Armenia welcomed 1.73 million tourists during first nine months

According to the Tourism Committee, Armenia recorded 1,734,247 tourists from January to September, compared to 1,721,245 tourists during the same timeframe last year.
YEREVAN, October 13. /ARKA/. According to the Tourism Committee, Armenia recorded 1,734,247 tourists from January to September, compared to 1,721,245 tourists during the same timeframe last year.
Additionally, in September 2025, Armenia saw 229,124 tourists, a decrease from 236,561 tourists in August 2025.
The committee highlighted that the majority of tourist arrivals in the first nine months of this year were from Russia (710,912 individuals, or 41%), followed by Georgia (213,483 individuals, 12%), and Iran (135,434 individuals, 8%). -0-
