Armenia welcomed 2.24 million tourists in 11 months

According to the Tourism Committee, Armenia saw 2,241,081 tourists from January to November, down from 2,359,722 tourists during the same period last year.
YEREVAN, December 8. /ARKA/. According to the Tourism Committee, Armenia saw 2,241,081 tourists from January to November, down from 2,359,722 tourists during the same period last year.
Additionally, in November 2025, the country attracted 176,571 tourists, compared to 152,976 tourists in November 2024.
The committee highlighted that the highest number of visitors in January-November this year came from Russia (874,115 individuals, or 41%), followed by Georgia (264,783 individuals, 13%), and Iran (166,318 individuals, 8%).
As part of the Strategic Program for Tourism Development for 2026–2030, which has been crafted by the Armenian government, there are plans to boost the annual tourist visits to 3 million.-0-
