YEREVAN, January 19. /ARKA/. Armenia is among top 15 popular tourist destinations for Russian travelers in Lenta.ru ranking.
Skyscanner tour service specialists said after analyzing air ticket booking data that Armenia was sixth in this list.
According to the service, the popularity of the top 15 destinations for Russian tourists in 2016 will remain also 2017.
Slovakia is topping the list – the number of the sold tickets to this country rose six times in 2016, compared with the previous year.
Iran, with a two-fold increase in 2016, is second in the ranking, and Georgia is ranked third.
Tanzania came fourth and Azerbaijan fifth in the ranking.
The Philippines, New Zealand, Moldova, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Cuba, South Korea, Canada and Panama are also among the top 15. --0---
