Armenia and Dominican Republic to abolish entry visas

YEREVAN, October 22. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has approved a proposal to sign an agreement with the government of the Dominican Republic on the abolition of entry visas for holders of diplomatic, official and ordinary passports.

According to the Armenian government, the agreement will help develop and strengthen relations between the two countries, develop tourism and raise awareness of citizens of both countries of each others.

When the agreement enters into force, the requirement for a visa to enter, transit and stay for a period not exceeding 90 days from the date of entry will be canceled.

For citizens of Armenia - holders of both ordinary, diplomatic and official passports – no visa is required to enter three other countries of Central and South America -Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. An agreement has also been signed with Mexico and Chile on the abolition of the visa regime. -0—
