According to the 2025 ranking released by the consulting firm Henley & Partners, the Armenian passport is currently positioned at 76th place.

YEREVAN, October 14. /ARKA/. According to the 2025 ranking released by the consulting firm Henley & Partners, the Armenian passport is currently positioned at 76th place. Armenian citizens can travel to 67 countries without requiring a visa, as reflected in the ranking.

At the end of 2024, the Armenian passport was ranked 74th, which allowed visa-free access to 68 countries.
In the 2025 passport index, the top three positions are occupied by Asian countries: Singapore ranks first, providing visa-free access to 193 out of 227 countries and jurisdictions. South Korea is in second place (190 countries), while Japan holds the third position (189 countries).

 The countries at the bottom of the ranking are Afghanistan (24 countries), Syria (26 countries), and Iraq (29 countries).

 The Henley & Partners Passport Index is acknowledged as the most authoritative ranking of global passports, based on the number of countries that passport holders can visit without a visa. This index includes 199 passports and 227 countries and jurisdictions, offering users the most comprehensive and reliable information regarding their travel options and global mobility.

The Passport Index assesses countries based on the number of visa-free destinations available to their citizens, using data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).-0-
