French embassy in Armenia resumes issuing long-term visas

The consular service of the French Embassy in Armenia is gradually resuming its activities, according to the website of the diplomatic mission.
YEREVAN, July 1. /ARKA/. The consular service of the French Embassy in Armenia is gradually resuming its activities, according to the website of the diplomatic mission.
At the initial stage only applications for long-term visas (for a period of more than 3 months) will be accepted for training, residence in France for professional or family reasons.
According to the consular service, long-term visas are not Schengen visas. They are issued for the applicant to stay in France for a long time - up to 90 days.
Visa applications should be submitted online on the FRANCE-VISAS website.
The consular service said that a possible issuance of a visa does not guarantee the possibility of immediate entry into the country because of restrictions applied at the border. --0--
