Government of Armenia cancels entry visas for visiting UAE
YEREVAN, January 26. /ARKA/. Armenian citizens will be able to visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) without entry visas.
The Armenian government approved today a set of amendments to the memorandum of understanding between the governments of Armenia and the UAE of June 21, 2009.
As a result, Armenian citizens will be able to viist the UAE without visas. This is expected to increase the flow of tourists, create a firm basis for economic and business ties, contributing to the expansion of investment and economic cooperation.
According to the government, the UAE is one of the largest trade partner of Armenia in the region with the volume of bilateral trade and investments from UAE to Armenia constantly increasing. Tourism is noticeably developing and the number of direct flights between Armenia and the UAE is increasing. Both countries also effectively cooperate in international organizations. -0-
