YEREVAN, April 15, /ARKA/. Armenia is the third most popular foreign destination for Russian travelers who seek to mark a set of public holidays in early May outside their country, according to Russian news agency RIA Novosti, which cited the data of Tutu.ru online travel service.

The number of Russians wishing to fly abroad for the upcoming May holidays has increased fourfold compared to last year, with independent travelers most interested in Uzbekistan, Turkey and Armenia.

The list of the most popular and available foreign destinations includes also Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Israel, Georgia and Greece.-0--

117,000 tourists visited Armenia in February: Tourist flow decreased

In February 2025, Armenia was visited by 117,372 tourists, compared to 127,241 tourists in February 2024, according to the Tourism Committee.
