Nearly 153K tourists visited Armenia in November, showing slight increase

YEREVAN, December 11. /ARKA/. A total of 152,976 tourists visited Armenia in November, according to the Armenian Tourism Committee.

In November of last year, 149,919 tourists visited the country.

Last month, the highest number of tourist visits came from Russia (43%), Georgia (12%), and Iran (8%).

According to official statistics, over 1.92 million tourists visited Armenia in the first 10 months of 2024, which is a 5.8% decrease compared to the same period last year. The largest number of tourists came from Russia (43%), Georgia (11%), Iran (7%), as well as the United States (3%) and India (2%). As Lusine Gevorgyan, head of the Armenian Tourism Committee, previously mentioned in an interview with ARKA news agency, the number of tourists visiting Armenia could reach 2 million by the end of 2024.
