A total of 1,505,123 tourists arrived in Armenia in the first 8 months, as opposed to 1,484,684 tourists recorded in January-August of the previous year, according to the Tourism Committee.

YEREVAN, September 16. /ARKA/. A total of 1,505,123 tourists arrived in Armenia in the first 8 months, as opposed to 1,484,684 tourists recorded in January-August of the previous year, according to the Tourism Committee.

Additionally, in August 2025, Armenia welcomed 334,396 tourists, an increase from 300,919 tourists in August 2024.

The Committee highlighted that from January to August of this year, the highest number of tourist arrivals came from Russia (609,249 individuals or 41%), followed by Georgia (188,386 individuals, 13%) and Iran (117,173 individuals, 8%).-0-
