Over 167,000 tourists visited Armenia in May

YEREVAN, June 10. /ARKA/. A total of 167,049 tourists visited Armenia in May 2024, compared to the 176,384 tourists in May 2023, the country’s Tourism Committee reported on Monday.

Of all tourists, 42% of tourists were from Russia, 14% were from Georgia, and 7% more came from Iran.

Armenia’s Ministry of Economy recently announced a new development program for tourist infrastructure in the country, creating and promoting twenty tourism clusters.

Yerevan hotels recognised as most comfortable in OneTwoTrip rating

OneTwoTrip travel planning service has selected the top cities where hotels in 2024 earned the highest scores in terms of such criteria as location, value for money, staff performance, comfort and cleanliness in the room.
