YEREVAN, February 9. /ARKA/. In 2025, Armenian citizens made 9,470 trips to Russia for tourism, a 6.8% increase compared to the previous year.
According to this indicator, Armenia entered the top 30 destinations for inbound tourism to Russia, according to data from the Border Service of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation published by Interfax.
Furthermore, the total number of trips by foreign citizens to Russia for all purposes last year amounted to 15.59 million, a 6.9% decrease compared to the previous year.
According to this indicator, Armenia entered the top 10 destinations for inbound tourism: in 2025, 544,640 trips by Armenian citizens to Russia were recorded, a 12.3% decrease compared to 2024.
The statistics take into account the number of border crossings, not the number of unique visitors.
