Yerevan becomes even more popular among Russians vacationing in large groups

YEREVAN, October 13. /ARКА/. The popularity of Armenia's capital among Russians traveling abroad in large groups has grown, according to OneTwoTrip.
Yerevan accounts for 2.5% of hotel bookings for groups of five or more. Only Dubai (7.3% of bookings), Istanbul (5.3%), Shanghai (3.3%), and Minsk (2.9%) are more popular destinations for Russians vacationing in large groups than Yerevan. Moreover, according to OneTwoTrip, Armenia's capital's share has grown by 19%.
It is noted that outside of Russia, Russians traveling with friends or relatives typically choose four-star hotels (33.7% of bookings). Apartments, guesthouses, and other accommodations with no stars (24.9%) and five-star hotels (23.7%) are almost equally popular. Large groups of tourists also stay in hotels rated three stars (15.5%), two stars (1.8%) and one star (0.4%).-0-
