Armenia marks First Republic Day

Armenian people celebrated on May 28 the 96th anniversary of the proclamation of the First Republic, which existed until December 2, 1920. Every year on this day, the country’s leadership, headed by the president and the prime minister, visit the Sardarapat memorial complex to lay wreaths and honor the heroes of the Sardarapat Battle in 1918.
