YEREVAN, August 30. /ARKA/. Average pension will be increased by 60% up to AMD 20,000 in Armenia effective January 1 2008, the Press Service of the Armenian Government reported.
Under the governmental decree, basic pension is increased from AMD 4,250 to AMD 6,800 and cost of one year of insurance record is increased from AMD230 to AMD 375.
Under the decree, basic salary provided for by the laws “About social security of military servants and their families” and “About Rescue Service of Armenia” is increased from AMD 3,000 to AMD 4,000. The governmental decree comes into force on January the 1st 2008. ($1 = AMD336.49). N.V. –0--
