Airbus delegation to consider room for cooperation with Armenia

A delegation of Airbus headed by Lionel Shampoa, vice president for defense and space, and Vsevolod Kazakov, regional manager for Central Asia and Caucasus, will visit Armenia on October 15 to 18 at the invitation of Armenian President Armen Sarkissian, the president’s press office reports.
YEREVAN, October 15. /ARKA/. A delegation of Airbus headed by Lionel Shampoa, vice president for defense and space, and Vsevolod Kazakov, regional manager for Central Asia and Caucasus, will visit Armenia on October 15 to 18 at the invitation of Armenian President Armen Sarkissian, the president’s press office reports.
The Armenian president's first meeting with the company leadership took place this year in June on the sidelines of the International Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, and an agreement was reached on a visit to Armenia to continue the discussion on the cooperation opportunities. During their visit to Armenia the Airbus officials will discuss room for assisting the country’s industry.
The company is also interested in implementing educational programs with Armenia and establishing cooperation with Armenia's universities. --0---
