Ameria’s management consulting agency jointly with Scotland’s Food Control Consultants (FCC) and under the World Bank’s financing is implementing a program aimed at strengthening surveillance over zoogenous infections and food-borne diseases in Armenia, the company’s press office reports.

YEREVAN, September 25. /ARKA/. Ameria’s management consulting agency jointly with Scotland’s Food Control Consultants (FCC) and under the World Bank’s financing is implementing a program aimed at strengthening surveillance over zoogenous infections and food-borne diseases in Armenia, the company’s press office reports.
The program implies support in creation of a special system of surveillance over zoogenous infections and food-borne diseases in Armenia.
Faults in the surveillance system will be identified and improvement ways will be proposed.
The program also implies development of an appropriate policy of estimation, analysis and prevention of the current risks.
Armenia’s laws regulating veterinary pharmaceutics will be compared with the best international norms and will be brought in tune with them.
The consultants involved in the program will conduct seminars for the State Food Safety Service’s personnel and other experts working in this area. They will describe the sate of the area and the identified risks. They will also present particular proposals.
The program is planned to be completed before March 2015.
