YEREVAN, November 17. /ARKA/. The Yerevan-based Ameriabank held on Tuesday a special raffle as part of its Ameria Online and Mobile Banking campaign to choose three winners of Lenovo IdeaPad tablets. The three winners were chosen from 305 eligible clients of the bank, who had used the online and mobile banking service of the bank to make 5 and more transactions.
Ameriabank Retail Operations Director Arman Barseghyan said the main aim of the campaign was to encourage the development of remote banking services. He said the employees of Ameriabank were not eligible to participate in the raffle. He also stressed that today the customers can use the mobile banking service to perform various banking transactions.
"Our customers can use the service to pay their utility bills. Moreover, by activating the special service once, the customer can even forget about paying his/her utility bills, as they will be paid automatically. The bank's customers may also receive funds from abroad directly to their cards and accounts," he added.
The Ameria Online and Mobile Banking campaign was launched by Ameriabank on October 1. The main goal of the campaign is to encourage bank customers to conduct online transactions to significantly save their time and provide the bank with an opportunity to speed up its services.
The service will be available to all individual cardholders of the bank from 1 October to 30 December. The one-time connection fee is one thousand drams, down from the previous 6,000 drams. As part of the campaign the bank will provide legal customers with the free three-month trial version of Ameria Online Banking service.
