Ameriabank launches TV banking

Ameriabank has announced today a beta launch of a new service - TV Banking.
YEREVAN, October 2. / ARKA /. Ameriabank has announced today a beta launch of a new service - TV Banking. Burastan Movsisyan, head of Technology and Operations unit at Ameriabank, told a news conference that Ameriabank emphasizes banking innovations as a priority and together with Ucom telecom provider offers its customers a new service, which enables the bank’s customers who are also Ucom’s subscribers, to pay their utility bills directly through their TV sets.
She said by using a very simple menu the customers can pay their utility and other bills and even form a single package of payments without leaving their homes. She added that the service will become available to all users from November 1.
Ameriabank is a universal bank providing investment, corporate and retail banking services in a comprehensive package of banking solutions. This is the first investment bank in Armenia, which has been providing a wide range of innovative banking services since 2007.
Ucom (Universal Communications) founded in 2007, is engaged in providing telecommunications services. With assistance from Ericsson, the company has created a broadband access network, providing Internet services, IP-TV, and fixed telephone services. -0-
