YEREVAN, March 24./ARKA/. Global Finance magazine has again recognized Ameriabank as Armenia's best bank in 2016, the press office of the bank reported on Thursday.

This is the fifth time since 2012 Ameriabank receives this status from Global Finance.

This status was given to Ameriabank for growth of its assets, profitability, its ties of strategic significance, wide range of services, innovative solutions and competitive pricing.

Ameriabank CJSC is a universal bank providing investment, corporate and retail banking services in a package.

Ameriabank's assets totaled AMD 515.8 billion (29% growth) and liabilities AMD 456.4 billion. Its capital amounted to AMD 59.3 billion (40% growth). The bank earned AMD 4.8 billion in profit in 2015 (32.5% decline). ($1- AMD 480.84). --0----
