Ameriabank said today it has retained its leading position in Armenia's banking sector in 2019 in terms of key financial indicators, such as the size of assets, liabilities to customers, credit investments, capital, and net profit.

YEREVAN, February 11. /ARKA/. Ameriabank said today it has retained its leading position in Armenia's banking sector in 2019 in terms of key financial indicators, such as the size of assets, liabilities to customers, credit investments, capital, and net profit.
According to an Ameriabank press release, its assets have grown by 24% in 2019 to 968.1 billion drams, the banking liabilities have upped by 26% to 866.9 billion drams and liabilities to customers have increased by 44% to 647.8 billion drams.
The bank's loan portfolio has grown by 7% to 585.7 billion drams, while net profit have amounted to 12.1 billion drams, by 15% more than in 2018.
Ameriabank is also one of the top corporate taxpayers in the country, having paid last year taxes to the tune of 8.56 billion drams.
