Apartment prices rose in Yerevan to 271,000 drams per square meter in April

Average market price of one square meter of dwelling in multi-apartment blocks was 271,400drams in Yerevan in April as compared with 251,900 drams in April the year before, a 7.7% increase.

YEREVAN, June 11. /ARKA/. Average market price of one square meter of dwelling in multi-apartment blocks was 271,400drams in Yerevan in April as compared with 251,900 drams in April the year before, a 7.7% increase. Compared to March this year, the increase was 0.6%, says the report of Armenia’s State Committee of Real Property Cadastre.
According to the report, the highest prices (AMD428,000 per sq. m) were recorded in Kentron (Center) community of the capital; the lowest ones (AMD151,000 per sq. m) were in Nubarashen.
Average square meter price for private houses was 286,600 drams in the capital in the reporting month against 285,500 drams in April 2012 (0.4% increase).
Average square meter price in multi-apartment blocks in Armenia’s regions rose by 0.6% in April against March.
Prices rose slightly in Aparan, Talin, Masis, Vedi, Vardenis, Alaverdi, Tashir, Akhtala, Goris, Kapan, Sisian, Meghri, Vayk, Jermuk, Dilijan, Ijevan, Berd, Noyemberyan and Ayrum.
The highest square meter prices were recorded in Tsakhkadzor (292,500drams); the lowest one, 8,000 drams, was found in Dastakert and Shamlugh. ($1=413.06drams). -0-
