On November 8, Armenia Airways started operating direct flights between Yerevan and Kazan, the capital of the Russian republic of Tatarstan.

YEREVAN, November 9. /ARKA/. On November 8, Armenia Airways started operating direct flights between Yerevan and Kazan, the capital of the Russian republic of Tatarstan.
The flights will be operated once a week, on Tuesdays, according to Armenia International Airports company that runs the Zvartnots airport in Yerevan.
According to the Kazan airport, the flights to Yerevan will be operated by Boeing 737-300 aircraft with 148 seats. The aircraft departs from Kazan at 22:20 and arrives in Yerevan at 02:30 (next day).
The departure from Yerevan is at 19:00, and the landing at Kazan airport is at 21:20. Duration of the flight is over 3 hours. -0-
