Armenia’s brandy production in January 2017 nearly tripled in comparison with January 2016 amounting to 1.831.2 million liters, the National Statistical Service (NSS) said.

YEREVAN, February 28. / ARKA /. Armenia’s brandy production in January 2017 nearly tripled in comparison with January 2016 amounting to 1.831.2 million liters, the National Statistical Service (NSS) said.
Production of wine increased by 39% to 344,600 liters. Vodka production was said to have slashed by 37% year-on-year to 339,300 liters, whiskey production grew by 31.1% to 165,700 liters, production of champagne increased by 26.2% to 31,800 liters, beer production grew by 9.6% to 491,900 liters and production of non-alcoholic beverages soared by 39% to 3.9 million liters. -0-
