Armenia's foreign trade turnover in January-August 2020 slashed by 10.2% year-on-year to $4.385.4 billion, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) said.

YEREVAN, September 25. /ARKA/. Armenia's foreign trade turnover in January-August 2020 slashed by 10.2% year-on-year to $4.385.4 billion, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) said.
It said compared to July 2020, the foreign trade in August 2020 was up 5.8%, but compared to August 2019, it was down by 4%. In January-August 2020, the foreign trade turnover in dram equivalent amounted to 2.121.0 trillion drams.
Armenia's exports in January-August 2020, compared to the same period in 2019, decreased by 6% to $1.567.9 billion. In August 2020, compared to July 2020, they increased by 3.4%, and compared to August 2019 year - decreased by 3.8%. In AMD equivalent, the exports in January-June amounted to 758.4 billion drams.
Armenia's imports in the reporting period fell by 12.4% year-on-year to $2.817.5 billion. In August 2020, compared to July 2020, imports increased by 7.3%, and compared to August 2019, they decreased by 4.1%. In the AMD equivalent, imports amounted to 1.362.6 trillion drams. ($1 - 485.32 drams) -0-
