Armenian Economy Minister Tigran Khachatryan received today representatives of Laura Investment company to discuss the construction of a 71-storey  skyscraper in Yerevan, the press service of the ministry reported.

YEREVAN, August 23. /ARKA/. Armenian Economy Minister Tigran Khachatryan received today representatives of Laura Investment company to discuss the construction of a 71-storey  skyscraper in Yerevan, the press service of the ministry reported.

It said the skyscraper is to be 270 meters high and its construction is estimated to take 7 years, including  2-year design work. It will be a multifunctional residential complex.

Overall,  $270 million are to be channeled into its construction. The venue of the skyscraper is near  the Dalma Gardens trading center, where the company is to create new and improve the existing infrastructures: gardens, playgrounds, recreation centers and cable cars.

The minister was said to have assured that investors will have the support of the government throughout the project implementation.

Khachatryan suggested considering the possibilities of using the local potential  in the  project implementation.

A representative of Bainona Engineering Consulting, a partner of Laura Investment, presented the programs it implements, as well as a set of issues related to the construction of the skyscraper.-0-
