Armenian regulator extends validity of Gazprom Armenia company’s gas import license

The Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia decided on Wednesday to extend the validity of Gazprom Armenia company’s license for importing natural gas into the country to January 1, 2019. The decision comes into force on January 1, 2017.

YEREVAN, December 21. /ARKА/. The Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia decided on Wednesday to extend the validity of Gazprom Armenia company’s license for importing natural gas into the country to January 1, 2019. The decision comes into force on January 1, 2017.
Before that, the license’s validity had been prolonged every year.
The license was provided to the company on December 24, 2002.
Gazprom Armenia CJSC, a subsidiary of Russia’s Gazprom, is the sole importer and distributor of Russia’s natural gas in Armenia. --0---
