Prices of services in January 2015 grew by 0.5 percent from 2014 December, according to the National Statistical Service (NSS) of Armenia.

YEREVAN, February 9. / ARKA /.Prices of services in January 2015 grew by 0.5 percent from 2014 December, according to the National Statistical Service (NSS) of Armenia.

According to NSS, the rise was prompted by increasing prices of legal and banking services by 0.5, household services by 0.8%, cultural services by 0.8%, health services by 1%, catering prices by 1.3% and recreational prices by 13.9%. Education prices increased by 0.2%.

Transportation prices were said to have dropped by 0.4%, as utility prices remained unchanged. Compared to 2014 January services were higher by 3.2%. --0-
