Armenian SRC officers thwart smuggling of large batch of Turkish medicines

Armenian State Revenue Committee’s (SRC) officers engaged in fighting smuggling and overseeing internal security, thwarted today an attempt of smuggling of a large batch of medicines at Zvartnots airport.

YEREVAN, June 19, /ARKA/. Armenian State Revenue Committee’s (SRC) officers engaged in fighting smuggling and overseeing internal security, thwarted today an attempt of smuggling of a large batch of medicines at Zvartnots airport.
According to SRC, the medicines were with Turkish language labeling and were brought from neighboring Georgia. According to the smuggler, he bought the medicine in Turkey, and tried to bring them to Armenia via Georgia.
The State Revenue Committee called on citizens of Armenia to pay attention to the presence of excise stamps provided by itself and the availability of labels in the Armenian language when purchasing medicines. -0-
