Domestic trade in Armenia fell by 1.8% in the first two months of 2016 from the same time span of 2015 to about 264.3 billion drams, according to the National Statistical Service (NSS).

YEREVAN, April 1, /ARKA/. Domestic trade in Armenia fell by 1.8% in the first two months of 2016 from the same time span of 2015 to about 264.3 billion drams, according to the National Statistical Service (NSS).
According to official numbers, retail trade accounted for about 59% (155.9 billion drams) of the total domestic trade. Compared with the two months of 2015 it was down by 5.1%. The wholesale trade grew by 3.5% to 100.5 billion drams (38% of the total).
Stores and supermarkets accounted for 73.8% or 115.1 billion drams of the total retail trade, while consumer markets accounted for 10.7 billion drams or 6.9% of total retail trade. ($ 1 - 480.61 drams). -0
