According to Seda Shahinyan, the head of a PSRC department dealing with legal and licensing issues, said Liormand Holdings Limited, the owner of 100% of the Electric Networks of Armenia, had asked the regulator to allow the sale of 70% of the network to Tashir Capital.
Armen Arshakyan, ENA deputy director general, explained to ARKA news agency that Liormand Holdings Limited is registered in Cyprus and belongs to Tashir Group and therefore no change, except for legal one, has happened.
He said the new owner of the network- Tashir Capital - is an Armenia-registered company, and the change of ownership will not affect its performance.
