The Armenian government has allowed today the Tashir Capital, an Armenia-registered company owned by Samvel Karapetyan, a Russian businessman of Armenian descent, to pledge 172, 496 shares (69.9%) of the Electrical Networks of Armenia (ENA) national power distribution company to attract loans from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
