Entrepreneurs from Italian (Apulia) Puglia interested in investment projects in Armenia

YEREVAN, July 21. /ARKA/. Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan welcomed Thursday a group of entrepreneurs from Italy's Puglia region.
The head of Armenian Tourism Committee Sisian Boghosean and representatives of the Investment Support Center foundation were also present at the meeting.
The Ministry of Economy said Italian entrepreneurs were interested in opportunities of implementing investment projects in Armenia.
During the meeting Kerobyan emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation with foreign partners, creating and strengthening new business ties, as well as attracting new investments.
He spoke about Armenia’s legislative framework and state support instruments, particularly, presenting the Infrastructure in Exchange for Investments and Modernization of Economy programs.
At the end of the meeting the minister reaffirmed the readiness of the Ministry of Economy to support the Italian partners in the effective implementation of the projects.
According to official statistics, Italy is among the five largest foreign trade partners of Armenia among the EU countries. In January-May of the current year, the Armenian-Italian trade turnover amounted to almost $163.8 million, a 46.1% growth compared to the same period of 2022. --0--
