YEREVAN, May 17. /ARKA/. The popular retail chain Fix Price has announced the opening of the first store in the Armenian capital Yerevan, Russian news agency Interfax reported citing the company

Fix Price plans to develop its chain in the country and will open a second store next month. Stores in Armenia have become part of Fix Price franchise network.

The store in Yerevan offers 1,700 SKUs in 11 price categories ranging from AMD 399 to AMD 2,499. Products will be delivered by road from the Company’s distribution centre in Krasnodar.

Armenia is the ninth country where Fix Price is present. In January 2023, Fix Price entered Mongolia.

Total franchise, according to data as of 15 May 2023, had 653 retail outlets in all the countries where Fix Price is present (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Armenia) and the entire network had 5,920 points.

Fix Price is the largest operator of fixed-price stores in Russia. In 2022, the company's revenue according to IFRS amounted to 277.6 billion rubles, EBITDA – to 54.2 billion rubles and the net income to 21.4 billion rubles. -0-
