GeoProMining President: All problems should be solved in accordance with law

GeoProMining, a diversified international group of mining companies, reported Friday that its leadership has met with employees in Armenia who are on an illegal strike now obstructing the mine’s operation, the press office of the company reports.
YEREVAN, July 12. /ARKA/. GeoProMining, a diversified international group of mining companies, reported Friday that its leadership has met with employees in Armenia who are on an illegal strike now obstructing the mine’s operation, the press office of the company reports.
The co0pany’s managers have heard all complaints of the employees and have come up with a return proposal – to set up a working committee for sorting through the strikers’ demands and putting things right.
The committee will be made up of the combine workers, trade union leaders, lawyers, experts as well as representatives of the local authorities and also Armenia’s government and parliament.
The committee will consider the demands and see whether they contradict the Armenian law or not.
“The company’s leadership is ready for an open and constructive dialogue, through which the situation that gives no benefits to any of the sides should be resolved,” GeoProMining President Roman Khudoli said. “All problems should be solved only in accordance with the Armenian law.
I also find it necessary to rule out all the emotional and having nothing in common with the reality statements, made these days, since they don’t contribute to resolution of the situation.” -0---
