Grigoryan, Overchuk and Mustafayev discuss resumption of rail link between Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia

YEREVAN, December 7. /ARKA/. The 11th meeting of the trilateral working group co-chaired by Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan Mher Grigoryan, Alexey Overchuk and Shahin Mustafayev was held in Moscow on Tuesday, the press service of the Armenian government reported.
It said the parties underscored Russia's positive role in the settlement of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as its efforts to unblock economic and transport ties between the two countries.
Issues related to resumption of rail link between Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia , development of railway communication and organization of transportation were discussed during the meeting.
The sides will continue working on the implementation of the trilateral statements of the leaders of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan regarding the unblocking of transport and economic relations in the region.
The Armenian and Azerbaijani sides expressed gratitude to the Russian side for the high-level organization of the meeting.
The trilateral working group set up to deal with practical modalities of opening transport links between Armenia and Azerbaijan is chaired by the deputy prime ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia. -0-
