Pegasus Airlines Turkish low cost air company’s arrival in Armenia is being delayed, Sergey Avetisyan, head of the General Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia, told journalists on Wednesday.
YEREVAN, May 3. /ARKA/. Pegasus Airlines Turkish low cost air company’s arrival in Armenia is being delayed, Sergey Avetisyan, head of the General Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia, told journalists on Wednesday.
“It has become known from a letter received yesterday from Pegasus Airlines that arrival of the air company is being delayed so far because of technical problems,” he said.
In his words, the initiative to come to the Armenian market has been put forward by Pegasus Airlines and Armenia, on its side, has welcomed it.
It was announced earlier that Pegasus Airlines will start servicing flights from Istanbul to Zvartnots Airport in Yerevan on June 1.
The flights were planned to be operated trice a week – on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. --0----
