The median gross wage in Armenia in November 2015 stood at 181,982 drams ($379 or 24,659 Russian rubles), a 0.3% rise from October, according to the National Statistical Service (NSS).

YEREVAN, January 12. /ARKA/.The median gross wage in Armenia in November 2015 stood at 181,982 drams ($379 or 24,659 Russian rubles), a 0.3% rise from October, according to the National Statistical Service (NSS).
NSS said in 2015 October the median gross wage was 181,391 drams, about 0.9% less than in September 2015 and 3.9% more than in October 2014.
The highest median gross monthly wage in October 2015 was registered in the southernmost Syunik region - about 214,800 drams, and the lowest median wage was in central Aragatsotn region - about 126,500 drams. In the capital city Yerevan, the median monthly wage was about 195,700 drams.
In October, the highest salaries were reported by finance and insurance companies - about 371,500 drams, information and communications sector- about 350,000 drams and mining industry- 339,600 drams.
The lowest paid jobs were in culture, entertainment and leisure sectors -113,900 drams, education-about 118,700 drams, housing and communal services – 120,500 drams and agriculture, forestry and fishing 121,100 drams ($1 - 485.1 drams) .- 0-
