President Sargsyan promises to simplify further taxation system for businesses

During a meeting with residents of Yeghegnadzor, the administrative center of Vayots Dzor province, to campaign for his Republican Party ahead of May 6 parliamentary elections, President Serzh Sargsyan pledged to create a simplified taxation system for small and medium-sized businesses.
YEGHEGNADZOR, April 18. /ARKA/. During a meeting with residents of Yeghegnadzor, the administrative center of Vayots Dzor province, to campaign for his Republican Party ahead of May 6 parliamentary elections, President Serzh Sargsyan pledged to create a simplified taxation system for small and medium-sized businesses.
According to him, the tax burden should be gradually transferred to big business.
The president said a great deal should be done still to encourage small and medium-sized businesses, but added that the tax administration has been simplified and many red tape obstacles eliminated."However, to ensure equal competitive conditions the tax and customs administration must be simplified further. Entrepreneurs should deal with their businesses instead of queuing in front of government and other offices," the president said. -0-
