YEREVAN, January 24. /ARKA/. Gohar Yenokyan, a prominent Armenian entrepreneur, has died from a serious illness, local media sources reported on Thursday.

Tomorrow, on January 25, she would turn 77.

She was founder and board chairman of Garun LLC (1996 - 2007), a member of the Soviet Union’s parliament (1989 - 1992) and a member of the National Assembly of Armenia (2007 - 2012) from Prosperous Armenia party. In 2001, the American Biographical Institute named Gohar Yenokyan The Person of the Century. -0---
