Russian giant Rosneft has acquired the Petrol Market, a network of petrol filling stations in Armenia for $40 million (2.7 billion Russian rubles), Tass reported.

YEREVAN, November 25. /ARKA/. Russian giant Rosneft has acquired the Petrol Market, a network of petrol filling stations in Armenia for $40 million (2.7 billion Russian rubles), Tass reported.
The deal was finalized in August 2015. Petrol Market owns a chain of filling stations and tank farms in Armenia.
Rosneft is the largest oil and gas company in Russia. Its main shareholder is the government-owned Rosneftegaz that holds 69.5% in Rosneft. Another major shareholder is BP (19.75% stake). Part of the company’s shares are traded at Russian stock market. -0-
