Russia and Armenia to set up joint venture to market petroleum products

Russian state-owned Rosneft and Armenian Oil Techno companies signed in Yerevan today an agreement to set up a joint venture that will deal with marketing and delivery of petroleum products. Armenian Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan was present at the signing ceremony. The agreement was signed by Rosneft president Igor Sechin and Oil Tekhno CEO Arthur Alaverdyan.

YEREVAN, April 4. / ARKA /. Russian state-owned Rosneft and Armenian Oil Techno companies signed in Yerevan today an agreement to set up a joint venture that will deal with marketing and delivery of petroleum products. Armenian Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan was present at the signing ceremony. The agreement was signed by Rosneft president Igor Sechin and Oil Tekhno CEO Arthur Alaverdyan.
“The Prime Minister welcomed the project, saying Armenia is interested in it”, the press service of the government said.
“We will make every effort to help this initiative materialize,” Sargsyan said during the meeting with the Igor Sechin.
In turn Sechin noted that Armenia needs various petroleum products: jet fuel, gasoline, diesel fuel, and Rosneft is pleased to be able to create such a cooperation platform. -0-
