YEREVAN, September 23. /ARKA/. The Russian-Armenian Center for Strategic Development launched in Yerevan aims to help the economies and businesses of the two countries adapt to current challenges, Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Volvach said in an interview with the Public Television of Armenia.

According to him, the center was established as a legal entity - resident of the Republic of Armenia. The founders are the Development Corporation of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Foreign Trade Academy.

"The Russian-Armenian Center for Strategic Development is really a unique project. We do not have similar projects, at least in the CIS," Volvach said. According to him, the center has a director, a strategy and a work plan.

"This is a joint center of competence, which must find the right decisions that need to be taken, give recommendations to the Ministry of Economy and the Armenian government on how to use the experience of Russia or global experience to adapt the economy to the challenges as quickly as possible, to respond to business needs and offer the right and most effective solutions for business people, which will allow our economies to develop and grow," the Russian deputy minister said.

According to him, before the launch of the center, Russian and Armenian colleagues had done a lot of work. The memo on creating the center was signed this past summer in St. Petersburg by Russian and Armenian economic ministers Maxim Reshetnikov and Vahan Kerobyan --0--
