YEREVAN, September 19. /ARKA/. The Russian service DamProdam, specialized in fast sale and exchange of old Apple and other devices for new ones with trade-in, has entered the Armenian market under DramDram brand, a representative of the company told RB.RU.

DamProdam's partner in Armenia is one of the largest telecom operators Telecom Armenia. The investors of the project are two business angels. One of them is Yandex New Product Director Dmitry Stepanov. The company did not disclose the amount of investment.

It takes 90 minutes to check, sell and exchange old gadgets with DramDram in Yerevan. To do it one has to file an online application and either a specialist will visit the applicant or the latter can visit one of the flagship stores of the operator.

Residents of other Armenian cities can exchange the device by mail after an online check.

"About 50 thousand Russian managers moved to Armenia, whose financial infrastructure is clear and partly similar to the Russian one. We were able to agree on a partnership right away. That's why we chose this particular market," co-founder of DamProdam Yelena Bogatyreva said. She added that "very soon" the service will appear in other countries, but not in the CIS.

DamProdam allows one to sell used gadgets iPhone, Samsung, iPad and MacBook or Apple Watch, receiving money immediately. In Russia the service, launched in 2017, operates in Moscow and St. Petersburg. --0--
